It is easiest by car. The nearest train station is in Pori (95 km south).

Buses from Turku and Helsinki arrive on Friday at 3.45pm, 6pm and 8.40pm; on Saturday at 1.30pm.
Buses from Vaasa on Friday at 6.35pm and on Saturday at 9.45am and 2.45pm.

The red Onnibussi buses will stop only at the highway junction in Lålby. In order to get to town, you have to book a taxi (€20) in advance by phone 06-221 14 44. On the other hand, Onnibus Flex and HP Matkabussi will take you to the centre of town.


If you come from afar, we recommend that you arrive already on Friday evening.

There is a lot to see in town, especially sights related to local history. Unfortunately, museums will be closed in October, but you will catch the most important sights on our free (!) 1-hour guided walk in the old town on Saturday at 10.30.  Not in case of rain.
